Another Innovative First From SoCal Diesel Inc.
For 6 years the L5P Duramax engine has been on the market without the availability of oversize performance pistons. That changes today. SoCal Diesel once again teamed up with CP-Carrillo to develop an exciting new connecting rod. This new rod is rated for 2000hp and allows the use of aftermarket 2001-2010 Duramax Cast and Forged piston options in your L5P.
An interesting note about these connecting rods, in combination with a Mahle Motorsports Performance Cast Piston, the bob-weight will fall within just a few grams of the factory L5P rod and piston combination, which makes crankshaft balancing much easier.
