SoCal Diesel Billet Stock Stroke Crank (NR)

NR = Rod Journals Narrowed .250


This is the strongest Duramax crankshaft available today. SoCal Diesel leads the field once again with this pioneering Duramax rod journal geometry. By narrowing the width of the rod journals, the cross section in the ever critical crank pin overlap area is increased by an amazing 7%.

As you know the Duramax rod big end is .125 wider than the rod bearing, why not remove this unused material from the connecting rod and add it to the crankshaft? It's a win win situation! The machine work doesn't weaken the rod and only strengthens the crankshaft.


***Note: The big end of your connecting rods must be machined .125 and rod bearing chamfered to work with this narrow rod journal crankshaft.***
